Why the Zebra?

We like zebras and use the symbolism with their coat pattern as it is just as unique as a fingerprint. The zebra's pattern also happens to look very similar to the fingerprint.

It is believed that the zebras’ striped pattern is a sort of camouflage making it difficult for predators to distinguish individual zebras from the horde.

And as the zebra’s main predator is the color blind lion, the black and white stripe pattern helps.

Zoologists also believe that zebras use their unique pattern to identify each other.

The zebra spends its days on the African savannah munching on grass in smaller harems or larger hordes.

Other animals with unique patterns are cheetahs, giraffes, penguins and ants.

All the pictures we use have in common that they are of animals with such unique patterns, where there is also one form or another of identification between individuals. Which is also the whole idea with fingerprint recognition.
